Mykola Lukin

Nikolay Lukin is a contemporary Ukrainian artist known for his expressive works that combine elements of abstraction, symbolism and figurative painting. Lukin is called one of the most talented representatives of the new generation of Ukrainian artists.
Lukin works in different genres, his works are distinguished by an individual style that combines expressionism with abstraction. The artist uses bright colors, bold shapes and non-standard compositional solutions, which makes his works recognizable.
His canvases reflect deep emotional states, the search for one's own "I" and a reflection of modern reality. The depicted figures and forms have a symbolic meaning, reflecting the complexity of the human psyche or social problems.
Nikolay Lukin uses different artistic materials, including oil paints and acrylic, and also experiments with paint application techniques and textures, which gives his works additional dynamics and depth.
Nikolay Lukin's works have been exhibited at numerous solo and group exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. He participated in international art projects, where he was professionally assessed by world art critics. His style was formed under the influence of world traditions and the Ukrainian art school. In his works, Lukin addresses themes and images that echo the history of art, and rethinks them. Nikolay Lukin is an artist and teacher. He teaches at the Odessa Art College named after M. B. Grekov.
He lives and works in Odessa, where he is engaged in creative activities and pedagogical work, teaching a new generation of artists, while being a senior research fellow at the Odessa National Art Museum, he created as a curator and continues to lead large-scale art projects.
