During the research, testimonies from residents of Garni were collected, providing the basis for many conclusions. The grave of Valery Gegamyan’s great-grandfather was locate in the village of Garni; meetings were held with the heirs of Martiros Saryan and Hovhannes Zardaryan. Particularly engaging was a conversation with artist Armen Atayan, who studied alongside Gegamyan at the Yerevan Fine Arts Institute.
